…And the battle continues…
(Quick note: this is a continuation from Tuesday’s post. Click HERE if you haven’t seen it)
Since Tuesday, I transfered the drawing a 3rd time and inked it without any blunders.

Fun Fact: my sour cream water cup has been with me since high school.
Drawing it for the third time was actually fairly stress free. I think after dealing with the other 2, I wasn’t worried about messing up again, more expecting it. But everything went fine, go figure.

After preparing the watercolor paper with water on the front and back I started with filling in the grass. By adding a layer of water to both sides I’m able to control the bends and wiggles as it dries. It also helps with super smooth transitions and blending.
Here are some action process photos!

This green was a better shade than my first attempt. The other one was too yellow.

Sky gradient came next… And also a friend…

hmm, I knew something had touched my watercolors.

…uh oh… more rabbits…

“Don’t you dare jump in the water bucket!”

“Ok guys, I’m just trying to finish this up without mistakes.”

…sigh… At least a Gummy Bunny didn’t fall on the painting.

TAAA-DAA!! Simple illustration that took way to long to complete. However, the Gummy Bunnies seem to approve.

And look! It’s a family picture of a family picture…complete with a photo-bomb, haha.
People are going to start staring at me if these guys keep following me around. Also going to have to make sure our cats don’t find them, eep!

i like all the bunnies around you…very cute.
